Franz Dutzler
Lapine, Oregon
Franz has had an aptitude for art and a love for trout from an early age. But one day the aptitude and his love turned into a passion for carving exacting replicas of trout and other game fish. The passion began to focus on the rich colors and hues of the native, wild trout. It is no wonder that Franz has become an ardent conservation advocate for wild trout populations everywhere. The trout sculptures, lovingly researched and carved, are so realistic they look as if they were "fresh from the stream". Real fish mounts age quickly but Franz's trout carvings will maintain their beauty forever, with a little care. Find out more about Franz and his passion for the native, wild trout.
