I started my career in 1958 as a precision toolmaker in the Aero- Space Industry.

The jewelry part of my career began in 1968 as an artist in Big Sur, California.

I relocated to Carmel, California in 1976 where I opened my first design studio, there my work took on its contemporary direction.
Soon I was showing my work in New York shows and selling in Galleries from coast to coast.

Then in 1989 I opened my flagship store “GOPH & CO.” a designer showroom that sold exclusively my jewelry line, custom designs and One-of-a-kind pieces.

In 1998 I built my Bend studio in Tumalo. There I returned to being a sole studio jeweler. I make each piece from start to finish, alloying the gold or other metals, then turning it into sheet-stock or wire for hand fabricating. The gemstones I then cut to enhance the designs.

Most recent the “Simply Cool” collection, heavily textured Sterling with 18k accents and set with brilliant colored stones and diamonds.
